Packers wide receiver Cobb will play this week

During the first two playoff appearances with the Packers, wide receiver Randall Cobb had to rest at home with an injury. But this year he is reluctant to miss the opportunity again.

Cobb, who previously missed several weeks with an abdominal injury, will play in the playoffs against the 49ers, according to ESPN. Marquez Valdes-Scantling (back) in doubt.

The Packers failed to make the playoffs in 2017 and 2018, and Cobb went to other teams for the next two years. “I’ve been watching the playoffs at home for the past four years,” Cobb said. “I haven’t been in the playoffs since 2016, so having the opportunity to be on the court and make a difference has really helped me. very happy.”

The Packers activated Cobb on Thursday to fill the void they waived defensive tackle Kingsley Keke a day earlier. If outside linebackers Za’Darius Smith and Whitney Mercilus return from injury, the Packers still need to make room for them.
